🔊Unusual noise

Problem:

The heat pump generates a lot of noise during its operation.

Origin:

Unusual noise can have several origins:

1) The compressor, whose operation generates vibrations. These same vibrations can be transmitted to the pipework, which, when in contact with the facade, can generate noise.

2) The fan may come into contact with one of the facades.

3) The flow sensor can generate noise if the water flow is too high.

4) The "Boost" mode is activated.

Solution:

1) It is important to carefully follow the installation instructions in your user manual. The heat pump must be placed and fastened to a perfectly level surface using the four anti-vibration pads provided with your unit.

As a precaution, if vibrations are still audible, please ensure that all facades are securely fastened. An inadequately secured facade tends to vibrate more and create more noise.

2) Try manually rotating the fan when the heat pump is turned off to check if the friction is indeed coming from this component.

3) We recommend reducing the flow through your heat pump by adjusting your valves as follows:

   - Inlet open 100%
   - Outlet open 75%
   - Bypass open 50%

4) The "Boost" mode pushes your heat pump to its maximum capacity, which results in the maximum noise level as indicated in your user manual.

Finally, ensure that the heat pump is not located in an area with a lot of resonance, as the chosen location may amplify the heat pump's noise level.

If the problem persists after all these checks, we invite you to open a service request with photos of your installation and a video of the noise encountered.
