Problem
The stove has just been switched on but is not heating at all.
Origin
The stove has a timer and a thermostat on the front. The timer can be set in two ways: immediate start and delayed start.
Resolution
When you start the stove, make sure that you are in the "immediate start" position on the timer.
This is the scale from 1 to 4.
The scale from 1 to 8 corresponds to a delayed start.
Extract from manual:
*Figure 2: time switch
*Figure 3: thermostat
*1.3.1: Place the time switch to the "on" position (Section A of figure 2, 0 to 4 o'clock). The stove will start up immediately.
*1.3.2: Place the time switch on the "pre-programming" section (Section B of figure 2, 0 to 8 hours). The stove starts to heat up when the switch is turned back to the "on" section. The stove will then remain on for around 4 hours.
If the problem persists, please check with your installer that the connection has been made according to the HARVIA stove manual.
Your stove turns itself off without reason.
It is possible that the stove is turning off because the temperature inside the stove is too high.
To solve the problem, we will ask you to check the amount of stone in the stove.
If there is too much stone in the stove, the air will not flow as well, and the heat will stay in the stove and the stove will turn off quickly (the sensor that controls this will be in the stove).
Here is how to arrange the stones:

Moreover, make sure that resistors are clean before using them, and do not put too much water on stones.
It is normal for the stove to turn off after some time following start-up. This is a safety feature.
