Problem

The evaporator encounters a defect, the evaporator's blades have been twisted.

Origin

The fact that the evaporator's blades are twisted at reception is in most cases due to transport. If that happens during the lifetime of the product, it could only come from a shock.

Resolution

The performance of the heat pump is never affected. This can happen during transport, or if the heat pump got a shock.

1/ At the reception:

It is important to check the state of your product when it is received and note this anomaly on the delivery slip.
Next, it is important to check the pressure gauge.

If the pressure is abnormally low, we advise you to refuse the product, as this may be the result of a gas leak.
If the pressure is good, then it remains only aesthetic. All you have to do is reposition the blades by hand to ensure better air evacuation.


2/ In case of a shock

It is rare for a shock to go as far as to cause a gas leak from the heat pump. If the pressure gauge remains good, simply straighten the blades by hand or using a comb.
If there is a gas leak, there is obviously a failure that needs to be fixed.
